PA session convened on Friday to approve Punjab Local Government Act 2025

LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Punjab Assembly session was summoned on March 7 (Friday) to approve the Punjab Local Government Act 2025.
Provincial Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafique will present the bill in the assembly for approval.
Several other legislative proposals will also be tabled during the session, including the Provincial Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Ordinance 2025 and The Punjab Control of Narcotics Bill 2025.
Additionally, the assembly will consider the Punjab Undesirable Cooperative Societies (Repeal and Reorganization) Bill 2025 and the Punjab Special Planning Authority Bill 2025.

Other bills on the agenda include the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research Bill 2025, the Punjab Finance (Amendment) Bill 2025, and the Punjab Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency Bill 2025.
