Blames PTI government for allowing terrorism to resurface after 2018
SHAKARGARH (Dunya News) – Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal has criticised a political party for prioritising politics over national interests.
Speaking to the media in his hometown, he reaffirmed support for Maulana Fazlur Rehman, stating, “He is our friend, and we will not let him go anywhere.”
Iqbal emphasised that Pakistan’s security forces were strong enough to protect the country from external threats. He accused hostile forces of trying to sabotage CPEC and Balochistan’s minimal development.
He also blamed the PTI government for allowing terrorism to resurface after 2018.
He praised Pakistan’s diplomatic success in securing a strong UN Security Council resolution condemning terrorism.
Addressing economic concerns, he stated its review satisfactorily.
Iqbal stressed the need for a grand economic alliance rather than a political on, blaming PTI’s four-year rule for Pakistan’s economic decline and loss of credibility on the global stage.
