Woman dies in stampede at Ramazan ration distribution centre in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A woman was killed and three others were injured when a stampede took place at a Ramazan ration distribution centre in Medina Colony of Karachi on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
Reports said a number of women attempted to enter the centre when its gate was opened as a result of which several women fell down and were injured in the stampede.
Rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to hospital. A contingent of police also arrived at the scene after the incident and started investigation.
