Pakistan is evolving into a fascist state rather than an Islamic welfare state, says PTI leader
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja highlighted the need to sustain the emerging political movement in Punjab with determination.
In a statement, Raja asserted that politics should not merely be about noise and chaos but should foster meaningful discourse.
Commenting on PTI’s recently released white paper, he lauded it as a commendable effort, urging a critical reflection on whether Pakistan is evolving into a fascist state rather than an Islamic welfare state.
“We will respond to fascism with patience, courage, and a strong presence on the streets,” Raja remarked. “We are facing significant challenges, and we must prove ourselves equal to every test.”
He further reiterated that a new movement has taken shape in Punjab, one that must be steered forward with courage, wisdom, and perseverance.
