Islamabad High Court seeks record of Imran Khan's jail meetings

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed Adiala Jail Superintendent to submit a record of individuals who have met former prime minister Imran Khan in jail.
A larger bench led by acting Chief Justice of IHC heard petitions related to Imran Khan’s jail meetings. The bench also included Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Justice Muhammad Azam Khan.
Adiala Jail Superintendent Abdul Ghafoor Anjum appeared before the IHC and stated that Imran Khan has been allowed out-of-schedule meetings beyond the jail manual regulations.
Subsequently, the IHC ordered the jail administration to submit a complete record and adjourned the hearing until March 24. The court also sought clarification on the procedure followed for these meetings.
