LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif made a surprise visit to Jinnah Hospital, where citizens voiced their complaints.
In response, she ordered the immediate suspension of Principal Asghar Naqi and Medical Superintendent Dr Kashif.
During her visit, the CM inspected the hospital’s medicine store and expressed anger over patients being deprived of medicines despite their availability.
She also visited the emergency ward, interacted with patients and attendants, and inquired about the availability of medicines and medical tests.
Following complaints about the lack of emergency medicines and other issues, she took strict action against hospital officials, emphasizing the need for improved healthcare services.
