The Lahore High Court ordered strict safety arrangements for Basant, including medical camps in high-risk parks and mobilization of hospitals for emergencies.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court has directed authorities to ensure all necessary safety measures for celebrating a safe Basant festival.
Justice Malik Awais Khalid issued a written order from the previous hearing, while the court adjourned further proceedings until February 11.
The court ordered the establishment of medical facility camps in high-risk parks during Basant. In its interim order, the court stated that all parties must ensure public safety throughout the festival, and all emergency services must remain fully operational.
According to the interim report, the Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADC-G) informed the court that three hospitals had been mobilized to handle any emergency situation.
