PTI founder received successful eye treatment at PIMS, medical report shared with family

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former prime minister Imran Khan underwent successful medical treatment for his right eye, accoridng to the detailed medical report shared with his family.

According to sources, on the Prime Minister’s instructions, the Executive Director of PIMS Islamabad forwarded the complete medical report to Adiala Jail authorities. Hospital administration stated that the PTI founder’s overall health condition is satisfactory.

The report confirmed that the founder’s vision in his right eye had been affected. Specialists at PIMS conducted a detailed examination after he was shifted to the hospital late at night for treatment.

Following medical evaluation, doctors diagnosed him with Right Central Retinal Vein Occlusion.

The report further stated that an Anti-VEGF intravitreal injection was administered in the operation theatre under standard medical protocol.

The procedure was completed successfully within approximately 20 minutes, and his condition remained stable throughout. He was later discharged with follow-up instructions.

Sources added that the medical report has now been received by the PTI founder’s family
