Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said Pakistan reserves the right to defend itself and added that the Pakistan armed forces are giving a strong and befitting response to Afghan provocation.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Thursday said that Afghanistan is working as a proxy for India.
Speaking to Dunya News, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that unprovoked firing is being carried out by the Afghan Taliban regime along Pakistan borders. He said Pakistan reserves the right to defend itself and added that the Pakistan armed forces are giving a strong and befitting response to Afghan provocation.
He added that Pakistan has raised the issue of terrorism emanating from Afghan soil at every forum, but the Taliban regime has never taken action against terrorist safe havens in Afghanistan. He further claimed that Afghanistan had asked for $10 billion but was not ready to provide any guarantees.
Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that India is using Afghanistan and urged Afghanistan to come to its senses and control terrorists. He claimed that Pakistan inflicted a crushing defeat on India on May 2025 war.
The federal minister also said that the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Field Marshal Asim Munir are being praised worldwide, which India cannot digest. He alleged that India is now sponsoring cowardly actions through Afghanistan and said Pakistan will further expose India.
