ABU DHABI (Dunya News) - A Pakistani national was killed after being struck by missile debris in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, following what authorities described as Iranian missile attacks targeting the country and parts of the region.

According to Arab media reports, the identity of the deceased has not yet been disclosed.

Pakistani diplomatic officials confirmed the death and said they are in contact with Emirati authorities regarding the incident.

The UAE expressed its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the family of the Pakistani victim, affirming its full solidarity with them.

In an official statement, the country strongly condemned the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure, describing such acts as unacceptable under all legal and humanitarian standards.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the Iranian missile attacks as a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and a clear breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

It stressed that the security of regional states is indivisible and warned that any infringement on the sovereignty of one country poses a direct threat to the stability of the entire region.

While calling for restraint and renewed diplomatic dialogue, the UAE underscored that it retains its full right to respond to the attacks in accordance with international law to safeguard its sovereignty, national security, and territorial integrity.
