Bilawal Bhutto, Sarfraz Bugti discusses political situation in country

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti called on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Islamabad on Tuesday.

During the meeting, detailed discussion was held regarding the overall political situation in the country as well as in Balochistan. Sarfraz Bugti briefed Bilawal Bhutto on the development projects underway in the province as well as the law and order situation.

He stated that priority measures are being taken to ensure that the benefits of development reach remote areas of Balochistan. Transparency and effective monitoring are being ensured so that resources are utilized properly, he said.

The PPP chairman said during the discussion that sustainable development and public prosperity in Balochistan are the party’s top priorities. He added that at the federal level, full cooperation will continue to resolve the province’s issues and ensure completion of development projects.

It was also agreed during the meeting that joint efforts will be further accelerated to create employment opportunities for youth in Balochistan and to address public issues.
