ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Pakistan has continued its strong retaliatory response to what it describes as aggression by the Afghan Taliban regime.
In a major development, Pakistan successfully targeted the strategically significant Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan.
According to reports, Pakistan Air Force operations destroyed one aircraft hangar and two warehouses at the airbase.
The renowned American newspaper The New York Times also confirmed the strike, and satellite images have been released.
Security sources stated that effective and destructive counterattacks by Pakistani forces are ongoing in response to Afghan Taliban aggression.
Heavy losses are reportedly being inflicted on the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij elements.
A day earlier, Pakistan Air Force operations destroyed an ammunition depot and drone storage facility in Jalalabad.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan’s military campaign, Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, is continuing successfully.
So far, more than 400 operatives of the Afghan Taliban regime have been killed.
A total of 51 locations inside Afghanistan have been effectively targeted through air operations, while more than 630 Taliban members have been reported injured.
In retaliatory ground actions by the Pakistan Army, 188 Afghan Taliban check posts were destroyed and 31 check posts were captured.
Additionally, 188 tanks, armored vehicles and artillery pieces belonging to the Afghan Taliban were destroyed.
The Information Minister stated that Pakistan has effectively targeted 51 locations inside Afghanistan through air operations.
