ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said on Wednesday that the remaining three Pakistani crew members of MT Honour 25 were on their way back home and would soon be reunited with their families.

In a post on X, Ishaq Dar said Imran Ali, Husain Yousuf and Muhammad Yasin were scheduled to leave Addis Ababa later in the day for Karachi.

He said Pakistan’s ambassador in Addis Ababa had met the three crew members and ensured that they were provided all necessary facilities and services during their stay in the Ethiopian capital.

Ishaq Dar said the Foreign Office and the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, had made every effort to ensure the safe return of all Pakistani crew members.

The deputy prime minister expressed gratitude to all those who supported the efforts to bring the crew members home safely.

While welcoming the safe return of the Pakistani nationals, Ishaq Dar said the government remained deeply saddened by the loss of three Pakistani crew members.

He prayed for eternal peace for those who lost their lives and strength for their families.

Ishaq Dar said Pakistan remained firmly committed to working with international partners to combat piracy and ensure the safety and security of seafarers and maritime routes.
