Pakistan took control early, scoring two goals in the first quarter. Muhammad Usman opened the scoring in the sixth minute to give Pakistan the lead, while Adeel doubled the advantage five minutes later.
No goals were scored in the second and third quarters as both teams tightened their defense.
In the final quarter, Salman Yaseen added a third goal to seal a comfortable 3-0 victory for Pakistan.
Pakistan will play their second match of the tournament against Malaysia on Sunday.
