LAHORE (Web Desk) - Pakistani cricketers Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan have been declared ineligible to participate in domestic cricket after failing to submit their mandatory fitness-test reports.
According to sources, both players will miss the President’s Trophy Grade-I tournament because they did not undergo the required fitness tests.
Under Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regulations, players are required to submit fitness-test reports in order to be eligible for first-class cricket.
The PCB has not received the fitness reports of Imam and Rizwan from their respective departmental teams.
The President’s Trophy is scheduled to begin tomorrow, with matches taking place in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Abbottabad and Peshawar.

Imam-ul-Haq was due to lead Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) against Pakistan Television (PTV) in the opening round.
Meanwhile, Rizwan was expected to captain Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) in the first round in the absence of Shan Masood.
The development comes at a difficult time for both cricketers, with an ongoing inquiry on one side and their exclusion from domestic cricket on the other, raising questions over their immediate futures.
The PCB has made it mandatory for centrally contracted players to feature in at least five domestic matches.
With Imam and Rizwan now set to miss the tournament, their ability to retain their central contracts could also come under scrutiny.
