NAGOYA (Web Desk) - Pakistan shooter GM Bashir won a bronze medal in the 25-metre rapid-fire pistol event at the 2026 Asian Games, taking the country’s overall medal tally to six.

Bashir was eighth after the first day of qualifying but improved his performance on the second day to finish sixth and qualify for the medal round. He then scored 22 points in the medal round to secure third place and the bronze medal.

Bashir, who has represented Pakistan at three Olympic Games, had previously won a bronze medal for the country at the 2022 World Championship.
