Summary According to CENTCOM, all attacks by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were successfully thwarted
WASHINGTON (Dunya News) - The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has issued a statement on recent Iranian attacks, saying that no US Navy warships were damaged in the attacks.
According to CENTCOM, all attacks by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were successfully thwarted.
The command said the IRGC’s claim that it had targeted US warships was “completely false.”
CENTCOM further said that 10 Iranian oil tankers had been destroyed over the past week.
It said the tankers were part of a network that provided financial support to the IRGC.

The statement comes amid heightened tensions between the United States and Iran, with both sides issuing competing claims about military operations and their impact.
Earlier, Iran's Revolutionary Guards said it had captured a US uncrewed submarine at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz, offering a rare glimpse into how underwater drones are being used in military operations.
Iranian state media said the vessel was a Dive-LD, a large autonomous underwater vehicle built by California defense firm Anduril.
The 19-foot (5.8-metre) submersible can carry out missions including mine countermeasures, seabed mapping, intelligence gathering and the inspection of underwater infrastructure such as cables and pipelines, the company has said.
"We trapped one of the most modern, intelligent and unmanned submarines of the terrorist American army at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz. This submersible is equipped with the latest technologies," the Revolutionary Guards Navy said in a statement carried by Iranian state media.
