GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – FIA tracked down five suspected human smugglers in raids, Dunya News reported here on Thursday.

Two suspects were identified as Ansar and Owais. They were arrested from Narowal and Gujranwala.

They allegedly took Rs4,500,000 from one Ahsan Ali on the pretext of sending him Italy.

In another raid, FIA arrested three suspected human smugglers involved in torturing immigrants in Iran, and taking Rs3,200,000 from four persons on the promise of sending them to Italy.

CASH, JEWELLERY STOLEN

Cash, jewellery and other valuables worth millions of rupees have been stolen from a house in Cavalry Ground of North Cantt police jurisdiction, Dunya News reported here on Thursday.

According to an FIR, thieves stole 71-tola jewellery, watches and cash worth Rs25,000,000 from the house.

The complainant told the police that the house inmates were not present in the house. In their absence, the burglars took away valuables. Police after registering a case took two servants of the applicant in custody.
