Suspected drug pusher killed in Gujranwala 'encounter'

GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – A suspected drug pusher was taken out allegedly in the firing of his own accomplices when he was being escorted by police for a recovery operation, Dunya News reported here on Saturday night.

The suspect identified as Mohsin was complicit in the murder of a citizen and injuring of three other persons.

He was wanted by police in murder, attempted murder and drug trafficking. His three accomplices managed to escape taking cover of darkness.

Murdered over old enmity

Meanwhile, in Chiniot a man was murdered over an old enmity. He was identified as Aurangzeb. He was attacked by two people, who used a sharp-edged weapon to murder him at a medical store in City police jurisdiction, Moazam Shah. Police have registered a case and launched a manhunt for the fleeing assailants.
