RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Police have registered a case after a video went viral showing a mentally disabled man being stripped and assaulted by several citizens in Rawalpindi.
According to police, the suspects have been identified as Abrar Shah, Zaibi Shah and Abdul Mannan, while efforts are underway to identify four other unknown individuals involved in the attack.
The victim, identified as Shero, was allegedly tortured in the Bagh Sardaran area.
Banni Police arrested one suspect, Zaibi Shah, following the incident.
SP Rawal said raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining suspects, adding that those in custody will be challaned with solid evidence.
