Latif Khosa calls for adherence to constitution for progress

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Latif Khosa has emphasised that the country's progress is directly linked to the implementation of the constitution.
Speaking to the media after visiting Mazar-e-Quaid alongside party leaders, Khosa stated that the constitution is being treated as a mere piece of paper. He stressed that if Pakistan is to advance, strict adherence to constitutional principles is essential.
Quoting Quaid-e-Azam, he said, "The people are the real rulers," but lamented that lawlessness has taken over the country. He accused both corrupt elites and criminals of destroying the nation's foundation.
Khosa further criticised the current political scenario, pointing out that a leader who won 180 seats is incarcerated in Adiala Jail, while someone with just 17 seats has become the prime minister. He termed this an unprecedented injustice in the country's history.
