ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The meeting of the Judicial Commission (JC), formed for the appointment of judges, will be held today (Friday) at the Supreme Court.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi will preside over the meeting.
According to reports, the meeting would consider the names of eight session judges for the appointment of additional judges to the Lahore High Court (LHC).
The names under consideration for the appointment of additional judges include Raja Ghazanfar Ali, Qaiser Nazir Butt, Akmal Khan, Tanveer Ahmad Shaikh, Zaila Aslam, Tariq Mahmood Bajwa, Shahida Saeed, and Akbar Gul Khan.
