Summary Security sources identify Afghan national Matiullah as one bomber in Kohat mosque attack that killed 23 people and injured more than 100.

KOHAT (Dunya News) – One of the suicide bombers involved in the explosion at Kohat Police Lines mosque during Friday prayers has been identified as an Afghan national, security sources said.

According to security sources, the bomber was identified as Matiullah. Authorities are still working to establish the identity of the second terrorist allegedly involved in the Kohat Police Lines mosque attack.

The suicide bombing during Friday prayers on Thursday killed 23 people, including police personnel, and injured more than 100 others.

President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, KP CM Sohail Afridi and Governor Faisal Karim Kundi strongly condemned the attack and directed authorities to take immediate action against the terrorists.
