ISLAMABAD (Rizwan Qazi) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) decided a total of 1,894 cases during September 2026, including 1,664 cases by single benches and 230 by division benches.
Justice Shah Rukh Arjumand led the judges with 471 decisions, followed by Justice Ayaz Shaukat with 234 and Justice Inam Amin with 187 cases. Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar decided 130 cases, while Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan decided 50, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir 116, Justice Muhammad Azam Khan 127, Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro 99, Justice Muhammad Asif 112 and Justice Umair Majid Malik 138 cases.
According to the report, seven different division benches of the IHC collectively decided 230 cases during September, from September 1 to 30, 2026.
