Summary He accused the party of pursuing a dual policy and said its approach amounted to providing cover to militants
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of repeatedly changing its position, saying the party must clearly decide whether it stands with Pakistan or Afghanistan.
Speaking to media on Sunday, Tarar said PTI leaders were “experts at taking U-turns” and had failed to maintain a consistent position on national issues.
He accused the party of pursuing a “dual policy” and said its approach amounted to providing cover to militants.
Tarar alleged that PTI benefited from facilities provided by Pakistan while showing sympathies toward “terrorists.”
He said the party needed to adopt an unequivocal position on matters concerning the national interest.

The minister also claimed that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had received Rs700 billion for counterterrorism efforts but had shown little willingness to take effective action against militants.
He accused the provincial government of pursuing a policy of protecting terrorists.
Tarar further alleged that PTI was the “B team” of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the “C team” of the Afghan Taliban.
He said the federal government would not allow anyone to undermine peace and security, adding that protecting the lives and property of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s people and combating terrorism remained government priorities.
