Two cops martyred in Quetta terrorists attack

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Two policemen embraced martyrdom and one sustained injuries in a terrorists attack on a checkpost in Shahban, Dunya News reported here on Thursday.
The martyred personnel were identified as head constable Shams-ul-Islam and constable Ramzan. The injured cop was identified Asif Raza, who was shifted to hospital.
According to police, militants attacked police checkpost, which was retaliated by law enforcers. As a result of this shootout, two police personnel laid their lives.
The militants fled after the attack. Police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the perpetrators.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the assault and expressed condolences with the bereaved families of the martyred cops.
He said law enforcers sacrificed their lives for the safeguard of the country. The minister reaffirmed his commitment to rout the militants.
