They demand DHA vacate bungalow from the accused
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Residents living around the bungalow of Armaghan, main accused in the murder of Mustafa Amir, have appealed to the high-ups concerned to vacate the residence from the accused and his family in view of security concern.
The residents have written a letter to DHA officials that they were facing security threats in the presence of Armaghan and his family in the bungalow.
They said many incidents of firing took place in their residence, which spread panic in the area. They also demanded action against the accused’s father for violating DHA rules and regulations.
They said the accused had over 100 private security guards, besides keeping lions in his residence illegally. They said the accused was involved in harassing women and domestic helps with abetment of his private guards.
ROBBERY BID FOILED
Police have foiled a robbery bid in Gulshan-e-Jaded, Phase – I. Police claimed that two robbers riding a bike stopped a passer-by on a road at a gunpoint.
In the meantime, patrol police appeared there. To see the law enforcers, the robbers opened fire, which was retaliated. As a result of the encounter, the robbers fled, leaving their bike and a pistol. Police started investigating after seizing the bike and pistol.
