Bilawal vows to pass amendment without turncoats

PPP, PML-N and JUI-F were on same page regarding amendment, says PPP Chairman
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto claimed to have numbers to approve the constitutional amendment in the parliament.
Addressing to the media after the PPP’s parliamentary party meeting, Bilawal said that PPP, PML-N and JUI-F were on the same page regarding the amendment. Aseefa Bhutto, Yousuf Raza Gilani, Syed Khursheed Shah, Syed Naveed Qamar and others attended the meeting.
He also condemned the surfacing of differences after the consensus was reached. He said that all the lawful demands of the JUI-F chief were forwarded to the PM with the hope that the same would be addressed.
Bilawal further said that all the promises made in the Charter of Democracy would be materialised.
Bilawal Bhutto also paid rich tribute to the martyrs of the Karsaz tragic incident and said fatiha for them.
On the proposal of Aseefa Bhutto, Bilawal was elected as parliamentary leader of both the PPP and the PPP (Parliamentarian). Bilawal also directed all the parliamentarians to stay in Islamabad till Monday. Bilawal further said that he wanted to pass the amendment without support of the turncoats.
