QUETTA (Dunya News) - Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said on Monday the country had been a target of a conspiracy.
He headed a high-profile session in Quetta in which security situation of the province came under discussion. Also, the meeting expressed serious concerns over the recent layer of terrorism which claimed lives of civilians as well as security personnel.
In the meeting, the CM said the Kalat incident was deeply disturbing and that the government equally shared the pain of the victims families.
He also spoke about the importance of dialogue to solve the problems that have engulfed the province for many days.
Bugti said the writ of state would be maintained at any cost as without it, there would be terrible repercussions. The chief minister said that for the first time in history, the teachers as well as medical fraternity were recruited on merit and people had expressed trust on them.
He said the country had been a target of a conspiracy and that the state would have to be proactive in dealing with any unforeseen activity. He said the youth had been brainwashed through social media.
