The army chief said, “All talk about the letter is just a tactic, and he has not received any such letter. The country is progressing well and developing.”
Yesterday, it was reported that the former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan had written a third letter to Army Chief Gen Asim Munir.
Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan wrote second missive to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Asim Munir.
In the letter, he highlighted that the country's biggest political party was being "targeted".
"I wrote an open letter to the Army Chief (you) with sincere intentions for the betterment of the country and the nation, aiming to bridge the growing divide between the military and the public. However, the response was extremely irresponsible and unserious," the ex-prime minister wrote.
