Joint session of parliament postponed indefinitely

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The joint session of parliament, which was scheduled for Feb 18 (Tuesday), has been postponed indefinitely.
Earlier, the schedule of the joint session had been changed. A notification was issued in this regard.
The last joint session of parliament lasted 18 minutes, during which the treasury took nine minutes to pass four bills. The speaker then adjourned the house until February 12.
National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq chaired the last session. Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Nawaz Sharif, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Sherry Rehman, and others attended the session.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) members were also present in the house.
