PM Shehbaz announces university in Rajanpur, cancer hospital in DG Khan

DERA GHAZI KHAN (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced the establishment of a university in Rajanpur and a cancer hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan.
Addressing a public gathering in DG Khan, PM Shehbaz expressed his happiness at visiting the city and thanked the people for their warm welcome.
He stated that his government had worked day and night for the progress of the people, emphasising that Nawaz Sharif’s vision is solely focused on Pakistan’s development.
He highlighted that Punjab prospered under Nawaz Sharif’s leadership, and Maryam Nawaz is now serving the people of Punjab, ensuring that medicines and facilities reach every household. He recalled the efforts made during the 2010 floods to support South Punjab.
The prime minister reaffirmed his commitment to health, education, and industrial growth, stating that numerous projects were launched to create job opportunities. He vowed to continue serving the people and expressed his gratitude for their support.
Discussing the economic situation, Shehbaz Sharif noted that Pakistan’s economy was improving, with inflation reduced from 40pc to 4pc and the policy rate lowered from 22pc to 12pc.
He pledged to work tirelessly to make Pakistan a great nation and boldly stated that if he does not surpass India in development, his name will not be Shehbaz Sharif.
