Rain in Lahore keeps weather nippy

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted more rain during next 24 hours
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Light rain in the provincial capital Lahore and its adjacent areas in the wee hours of Monday turned the weather cold.
Rain also caused disruption of electricity in parts of Lahore as several feeders of the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) tripped.
According to details, rain was reported from Mall Road, Lakshmi Chowk, Jail Road, Model Town, Gulberg, Garden Town, Kalma Chowk, Sanda, Gulshan Ravi and other parts of the city.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted intense rainfall and snowfall in mountainous areas in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during next 24 hours. Murree, Galiyat, and other hilly areas are also likely to receive rain and snow.
Punjab will experience heavy downpours, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s plains and mountainous regions will see rain and snowfall until March 4. Authorities in all districts have been alerted.
