An officer’s case can be reviewed only twice for promotion in Grade 22
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has amended the civil servants promotion rules and the Establishment Division issued an SRO regarding the change.
According to the new SRO, an officer’s case can be reviewed only twice for promotion in Grade 22. If the officer is not granted promotion, his case will not be considered again. An officer of any service group will then be considered to have retired in his previous grade.
The new rule has been incorporated in the Gazette of Pakistan.
