Two policemen martyred in Kohat firing

KOHAT (Dunya News) - Two police officials were martyred in Kohat by the firing of some unknown assailants.
The tragic incident took place near the Tanda Dam area in Kohat.
The deceased officials were on way to their homes after performing the duty when the incident took place.
The police officials were identified as Ghulam Mustafa and Zahid Rehman.
The suspects fled the scene after firing.

The police also reached the spot and started investigation.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack on police officials and paid rich tribute to the martyred officers.
In his statement, Mohsin Naqvi expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of martyred officers and offered his sympathies.
Naqvi further praised the efforts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police in their ongoing fight against terrorism.
The interior minister added that the brave sacrifices of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police will always be remembered.
