National Assembly passes resolution condemning attack on Jaffar Express

House denounced Jaffar Express incident and all forms of terrorism
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The National Assembly unanimously passed a resolution condemning the attack on the Jaffar Express and all acts of terrorism across the country.
The resolution was tabled by Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, which received unanimous approval from the house.
According to the text of the resolution, the house strongly denounced the Jaffar Express incident and all forms of terrorism. It affirmed that ideologies threatening national security would not be allowed to spread and pledged strict action against those attempting to destabilise the country.

The resolution expressed solidarity with the innocent citizens who lost their lives in the tragic incident and paid tribute to the brave security forces. It also urged the nation, regardless of race or ethnicity, to unite against terrorism.
Furthermore, the house acknowledged the sacrifices made by security personnel and condemned all forms of extremism. The resolution also called for the effective implementation of the National Action Plan after the Balochistan incident.
Prominent political leaders, including Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Asad Qaiser, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Zartaj Gul, Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Farooq Sattar, among others, signed the resolution.
