ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has declared that a dialogue on national issues cannot be proceed without the release of PTI leader Imran Khan.

Speaking after an Iftar gathering, he said, “Our province now boasts a surplus of Rs159 billion, while Punjab faces a deficit of Rs148 billion. Transparency has been our hallmark.”

He dismissed corruption claims, saying, “If corruption existed, would we still be in surplus? Perhaps other provinces should follow suit.”

Ganadpur emphasised the need for public trust to fight terrorism and highlighted missteps in national security policies.

“Dialogue with Afghanistan is vital, yet I face opposition for suggesting it," he noted.

He reiterated, “No meaningful talks can happen without Imran Khan’s release. Public support is backbone of any victory, and we must carry the people along to move the country forward."
