PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - A significant decline in terrorist incidents has been recorded across Pakistan as the effects of Operation Ghazab Lil Haq have begun to emerge.
According to official data, terror attacks fell by 42% in April compared to March. A total of 85 incidents were reported nationwide in April, down from 146 in the previous month.
Security forces intensified operations during the period, eliminating 224 militants. The number of fatalities from such attacks also decreased, with 67 deaths recorded in April compared to 106 in March.
Among those killed in April were 28 security personnel, 37 civilians, and two members of peace committees. Additionally, around 100 people were injured in various incidents, including 54 civilians and 46 security personnel.
Officials say the downward trend reflects the growing impact of the operation, as the Pakistan Armed Forces continue efforts to stabilize security and counter militant activities across affected regions.
