Sindh Rangers and police killed nine bandits in a joint Ghotki operation targeting multiple gangs; 27 were injured, while key militants carrying bounties were among the dead.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Rangers and police carried out a joint operation in Ghotki district of interior Sindh, killing nine bandits and injuring 27 others.

The operation was conducted at Cross Band Khan Garh Chowk against criminal gangs including Indhar, Lathani, Bukhirani, Sheikhani and Mazari groups.

According to the spokesperson, those killed included notorious bandits Abdullah Dashti, Hazara alias Lala Sheikhani, Azan alias Chhallo, among others.

Earlier, armed bandits had abducted 18 passengers after forcing them off a bus traveling from Sadiqabad to Quetta near Ubauro in Ghotki district.

The spokesperson said Hazara alias Lala Sheikhani and Azan alias Chhallo carried head money of Rs5 million each announced by Punjab Police.
