JUI-F Fazl says govt standing on weak footing
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Friday the incumbent government would crumble the day the powers that be backtracked from its support.
Addressing a press conference in Gujranwala, he said “ his party believes in a political solution through negotiations, PTI did not take the opposition into confidence before talking to the government.
He said that the government's writ in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been absent as armed groups were ruling there while the situation in Balochistan also worrying.
The JUI chief said “it is necessary that the situation in Balochistan be looked at seriously at the state level.”
On the Peca act, he said the JUI-F chief said the suggestions of journalists on the controversial act should have been taken before its passage.
