Abu Dhabi Crown Prince to visit Pakistan on Feb 27

Sheikh Khaled will be conferred with Pakistan’s highest civilian award, Nishan-e-Pakistan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is set to visit Islamabad for a one-day tour, diplomatic sources said.
During his visit, Sheikh Khaled will be conferred with Pakistan’s highest civilian award, the Nishan-e-Pakistan, at a special ceremony.
According to sources, the Crown Prince is also expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Additionally, the two leaders are likely to hold discussions on bilateral relations and economic cooperation.
Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed serves as a member of Abu Dhabi’s Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs and sits on the board of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). He is also a board member of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and has previously held key roles in national security, including as Deputy National Security Adviser.
In March 2023, Sheikh Khaled was appointed Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. His visit to Pakistan is seen as a significant step towards fostering economic, trade, and investment ties between the two nations.
