Summary Security forces have killed six terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kachhi district.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry will hold an important press conference today.
The press conference will begin at 5pm, during which the military’s media wing will brief the media on important matters.
Meanwhile, security forces have killed six terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kachhi district.
According to sources, the operation targeted militants belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan. The terrorists were successfully targeted using quadcopters.
A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the militants, while a clearance operation is continuing in the area to eliminate any remaining terrorist presence.
Separately, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan, destroying several militant hideouts and tunnels.
The operation also led to the recovery of a large quantity of explosive material, while several terrorists were reportedly killed.
The explosive material recovered during the search operation was subsequently neutralised with the assistance of the bomb disposal squad.
