Arms seized; further investigation under way
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Police have arrested two suspected robbers who had killed a shopkeeper during a robbery in Sachal area, Dunya News reported here on Sunday.
Police were informed about the presence of two robbers in an area. When police reached there, bandits opened fire at police, who returned the fire, and injured a suspect. The injured outlaw was arrested along with his accomplice.
During investigation it was revealed that the arrested suspects had killed a shopkeeper during burglary. Arms and looted valuables recovered from them. Further investigation was under way.
TWO PRISONERS ESCAPE
Two accused detained in a lockup of a sub-jail escaped breaking its roof in Moroo. They accused identified as Saleem and Imran were on ten-day judicial remand. They were arrested in the cases of theft and liquor. Police have started their search.
