DERA GHAZI KHAN (Dunya News) - An exchange of fire between two groups leaves five persons dead, Dunya News reported here on Monday night.
According to Tuman Khosa police, the shootout took place over a vendetta between the two rival groups.
Five persons were killed in the crossfire between the warring groups. Dead bodies were shifted to hospital. Law-enforcers were looking into the matter.
GIRL RAPED IN MULTAN
In Multan, a 17-year old girl was subjected to rape by a fake spiritual healer in Cantt police jurisdiction.
Accused Irfan was called by the members of the girl’s family to their house for her treatment. On the pretext of giving her spiritual treatment, the fake Pir raped the girl and escaped.
On information, police reached the house of the girl and started investigation. Raids were being conducted to arrest the suspect.
FACTORY OWNER SHOT DEAD
In Gujranwala, a factory owner was shot dead in Dahlay police jurisdiction. The deceased identified as Najam-ul-Saqib was standing outside his factory when two assailants riding a bike shot him dead and fled.
Police were called to the crime scene, who started investigation after shifting the dead body to hospital for post-mortem.
