Party founder Imran Khan issues instructions for action against them
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has decided to expel the members of the National Assembly from the party who remained absent in the parliament at the time when 26th Constitutional Amendment Bill was presented for its passage, Dunya News learnt here on Saturday.
According to PTI sources, the PTI chief has issued instructions for their removal from the party, except MNA Zain Qureshi.
Imran Khan has asked the party senior leadership to issue a notification with regard to their removal from the party.
The founder conveyed his message to the party stalwarts that those kept hiding on day of 26th Constitutional Amendment Bill passage had no room in the party.
The PTI sources revealed that Zarqa Suhrawardy, Senator Faisal Saleem and Zain Qureshi were absent on the day of presenting the 26th Constitutional Amendment Bill in National Assembly.
Show-cause notices were issued to Aslam Ghman, Riaz Fatiana, Zain Qureshi, Mikdar Ali Khan and Aurangzeb Kachi.
The PTI-backed Zahoor Qureshi, Usman Ali and Mubarak Zeib were also not in touch with the party leadership on the day of the amendment.
